Impact

As a Sr. Software Engineer, will be responsiblefor developing apps for Android platforms. Individual will also be required todesign and develop around third-party SDKs, shipping solutions and interfacewith server APIs.

The Job

Development of Android based APP’s
Provide feedback and advice to new and existing system, and perform peer code reviews.
Maintenance of source code using source control software.
Conducts unit testing, and works with internal user groups to coordinate/assist in user testing procedures. Assists in software deployment and related trouble-shooting.
Documentation for development and unit testing.
Prepare schedules, timelines, and milestones.
Carry out difficult development assignments with general direction.
Should be able to work independently
Build intuitive UI/UX for Android phones and tablets
Work with teams to add new features into existing Android App
Write high quality Java code
Contribute to code quality by writing Unit, UI, and Integration tests
Occasionally help create PHP endpoints for consumption in the App
Work closely with Product Owners to create and curate a roadmap for the Android Apps
Use the latest open tools and processes like Git hub and scrum
Qualifications

The role requires a talented self-directed individual with a strong work ethic and the following skills:
· B. Tech/B.E. graduates
Minimum 3-5 years in Android development work experience
Minimum 4-5 years’ work experience in the areas of designing and implementing Android apps for software
Deep understanding of the Android platform
Ability to communicate effectively, in both oral and written form, to upper level management and peer engineers. Must also be able to communicate internally and externally to customers with various backgrounds, including technical staff and marketing personnel.
Must learn and process information quickly.
Must be able to effectively document all processes, designs and data flows.
Solid troubleshooting, problem solving and analytical skills and the ability to reach innovative options quickly.
Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
· Flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends to meet project deadlines.
· Some experience with monitoring tools such as Keynote, SCOM, AppDynamics, Splunk
