Requirements
EDUCATION:
Completed CAD training from technical school. Associates or Bachelors Degree or equivalent college degree/certification preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
One year CAD experience.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
Basic PC and MS Windows skills.
Proficient in use of CAD program.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Understands and can effectively communicate ISO processes to Company, customer, ISO auditors and representatives.
Works independently or with minimal assistance to analyze and interpret source data.
Works independently or with minimal assistance to translate source data into illustrations.
Adheres to established styles and procedures. Possesses general knowledge of product specifications.
Meets and sustains minimum production/quality (performance) standards.Can begin to recognize source data errors and suggests corrections.
Meets assigned production schedules and deadlines.
Begin to work with other functional groups and METS personnel.
Other duties as assigned.These individuals will perform Technical illustration interpretation of source data from either a set-up outline or from original source data to create and/or revise illustrations of parts catalogs for commercial aircraft manufactured by the Boeing Company. Ability to understand and/or read blueprints, analytical skills and mechanical aptitude is strongly desired. Qualified applicants must have good oral and written communication and good Microsoft PC skills. Drafting skills are a plus (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA or equivalent).
